Welcome to Sussex Emergency Dentist! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our emergency dental services, provided by Sussex Emergency Dentist (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms.

1. Services Provided

Sussex Emergency Dentist offers emergency dental care services, which may include, but are not limited to, treatment for:

  • Toothaches and dental pain
  • Broken, chipped, or cracked teeth
  • Knocked-out teeth
  • Dental infections and abscesses
  • Lost fillings, crowns, or veneers
  • Any other urgent dental needs requiring immediate care

2. Eligibility for Treatment

Our services are available to individuals experiencing dental emergencies. We reserve the right to determine the urgency of your dental issue and may provide treatment based on the severity and nature of your condition.

3. Appointments and Availability

  • Same-Day Appointments: While we aim to provide same-day emergency appointments, availability may vary. Appointments are subject to prior booking, and we recommend calling in advance to confirm availability.
  • Late Arrivals: If you are late to your scheduled appointment, we may need to reschedule, depending on the severity of other patients’ needs.
  • Missed Appointments: Missed or cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

4. Payment Terms

  • Consultation Fees: A consultation fee is charged for every initial visit. The fee is payable before or on the day of the appointment.
  • Treatment Costs: Any additional treatment or procedure recommended by our dentists will incur extra charges. These charges will be communicated to you prior to the commencement of the treatment.
  • Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit cards and cash.
  • Insurance: We do not directly bill insurance providers. If you have dental insurance, it is your responsibility to handle reimbursement claims with your provider.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Treatment Refunds: We do not offer refunds for dental treatments completed. However, if you are unsatisfied with the quality of care, we encourage you to contact us within 7 days to discuss the situation.
  • Cancellation Policy: Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a fee.

6. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date medical and dental history to our staff, including any allergies, existing conditions, medications, and previous treatments. Failing to provide this information may affect your treatment and our ability to provide care.

7. Medical Disclaimer

The information and treatments provided by Sussex Emergency Dentist are not substitutes for regular dental check-ups and preventive care. We recommend that you continue seeing your regular dentist for non-emergency dental care.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Your personal data, including health information, will be used only to provide you with appropriate dental services.
