Emergency Dental Fees

Please see below our fees for emergency treatments. If you are not sure what the issue is then book an appointment for an initial assessment and the necessary treatment can be discussed with the dentist.

Assessment (including x-rays) + Advice only

£95

Immediate assessment and in-house x-rays. Explanation of the results of the assessment and discussion of any necessary treatments and their benefits and risks.

Assessment + Prescription

£115

Immediate assessment, explanation of the results of the assessment and prescription of medications for pain relief, infection control, or other specific dental needs.

Assessment + Extraction (simple)

£150

Immediate assessment and extraction involving removing a tooth that is visible in the mouth and easily accessible. It is typically performed on teeth that are fully erupted and have a straightforward root structure and local anaesthetic is administered.

Assessment + Extraction (complex)

£280

A complex dental extraction involves removing a tooth that is not easily accessible. This includes teeth that are broken, impacted (not fully erupted), or have complicated root structures. The procedure is more intricate and may require surgical intervention. Local anaesthetic, and sometimes sedation, is administered to ensure patient comfort.

Assessment + Temporary Filling

£130

A temporary filling is used to protect a tooth temporarily while waiting for a more permanent restoration. These fillings are crucial in various dental treatments and situations. The purpose of temporary fillings is to shield the inner layers of the tooth (dentin and pulp) from bacteria, food particles, and temperature sensitivity and offer pain relief.

Assessment + Permanent Filling

£200

A permanent filling is used to repair teeth affected by decay, cracks, or fractures. Unlike temporary fillings, permanent fillings are designed to last for many years and provide long-term protection and functionality to the damaged tooth.

Assessment + Recementation of crown

£130

Recementation of a dental crown involves reattaching a crown that has become loose or dislodged from the underlying tooth structure. This is typically a straightforward procedure, but it is essential for maintaining the function and appearance of the crown, as well as protecting the underlying tooth.

Assessment + Recementation of bridge

£160

The recementation of a dental bridge involves reattaching a bridge that has become loose or dislodged. Recementation is crucial to restore the function and aesthetics of the bridge and to protect the underlying structures.

Assessment + Draining of infected tooth or swelling

£195

Often referred to as draining an abscess caused by a bacterial infection, is a procedure to remove pus and alleviate pressure and pain caused by the infection.

Assessment + Treatment of dry socket

£120

Dry socket, or alveolar osteitis, is a painful condition that can occur after a tooth extraction, particularly of the wisdom teeth. The socket will be irrigated with a saline solution to remove any debris or food particles and then treated with either medicated dressings or antibiotics, topical or oral.

I have seen Dr Fahad Jamil twice now and he has been very gentle and reassuring. Both he and his assistant were very professional and talked me through what they were doing at all times. He also gave me very good aftercare advice. The clinic is very clean and modern and the staff on arrival are helpful and welcoming. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist but it was as good as it could be!

Dr Jamil extracted my son’s wisdom tooth yesterday. My son is deaf and struggles with communication, he was very impressed with Dr Jamil’s deaf awareness. So impressed that he checked whether I’d written this review today !! Thank you.

I was referred here yesterday to have a wisdom tooth extracted. The oral surgeon was Faizal Sameja. Lovely guy. I was scared and I was in pain with this tooth for several weeks beforehand. After the anaesthetic kicked in, the actual extraction took about 5 minutes, if that. He was so skilful and his assistant was also very reassuring. In fact it was so quick and I was so relieved I think I laughed! All the staff I met at this dental practice were calm, efficient and friendly. I was expecting to be in pain last night and today but I have only taken 2 paracetamol since.
